CloneSafe SAMS
provides cellular and PCS carriers a secure and automatic method for managing
A-Keys when implementing authentication in their networks. CloneSafe SAMS
provides a secure method for generating, storing and distributing authentication
keys required for the ANSI-41 based authentication process.
SAMS
has the capability to generate new A-Keys and supports electornic data interchange
(EDI) and secure bulk-load for manufacturer pre-programmed A-Keys.
SAMS
supports existing authentication centers (Acs) that are stand-alone or integrated
with an HLR or switch. A-Keys are generated and securely transferred to the AC
directly or via the provisioning system.
SAMS also performs as the
central server for fully automated service activation.
CloneSafe
Validator is the solution for fast, easy, and error-free mobile phone activation.
Validatorprovides a secure method of programming the A-Key and other service
activation parameters stored in the phone's NAM. Validator supports the
most popular makes and models of phones, with more continually added.
The Validator can program and activate mobile phones at:
Retail
points of sale
Fulfillment and logistics centers
Inventory
warehouses
Mobile phone manufacturing facilities
The
CloneSafe SAC provides the means for authenticating subscribers while
in their home service area or while roaming. The SACcan also authenticate
visiting subscribers in a service area even if the home network does not support
ANSI-41 authentication.
The SAC's authentication policy is very flexible,
allowing authentication to occur as the service provider prescribes. The SAC
can be deployed in any ANSI-41 network, closely coupled with a single HLR or serving
many HLR's associated with one or more service provider networks. Used in conjunction
with the SAMS and Validator, the CloneSafe SAC provides
the most secure method for deploying authentication.
